We designed an extendable table for your guests. The Extendable Air Table lets you add seating for up to 4 additional guests, extending both your table surface and your hospitality.
It is a table designed for socialising and sharing. Adding the table extensions, you can get between 2 and 4 extra places at the table.
The extendable table is available in Wildwood, lacquer and a mix of the two. The Extendable Air Table is available in a range of different sizes.
The extendable Air table is a patented product with a design edge for kitchens, living rooms and offices.
The extensions for the 52-cm table are kept in two pull-out drawers hidden in the table ends. A groove facilitates opening and the extensions slide into place, adding seating for two on each side.
The glass table base lets the full spectrum of light filter through, making interior spaces more luminous. The optical effect is stunning: a surface that floats in the air.
The additional components of the table extensions are attached with magnets. No one will be able to tell that they are extensions, as they seem like an integral part of the table.
The table’s extra-clear tempered glass legs are 6-times harder than normal glass and are highly resistant to jumps in temperature, heat and shocks.
The table extensions can be a different colour and/or material than the table top. This means that the extensions can be in Wildwood or lacquer, regardless of whether the table top is in Wildwood or lacquer.
The Extendable Air Table extends your hospitality. Eating together is the most special moment of the day and using the two table extensions you can share this moment with four extra friends.
The table top, supported by two glass legs just 1.2-cm thick, seems to float in the air. The feeling you get is of eating while floating on a cloud.
With the Air Table, we are proposing a rereading of the relationships between solids and voids and the lightweight and heavy that revolutionises the perception of space. The lightness of the glass supporting structures, with a thickness of just 1.2 cm, contrasts with the substantial physicality of the 8-cm-thick table surface.
